How is my total carbon footprint calculated?

Every emission record you enter is multiplied by the appropriate emission factor to convert it into CO₂ equivalent (tCO₂e) and then summed. The dashboard shows the sum of Scope 1, 2 and 3.

What does the scope distribution chart mean?

Your emissions are split into Scope 1 (direct emissions, e.g. vehicle fuel), Scope 2 (purchased electricity) and Scope 3 (indirect emissions such as supply chain and travel). The chart shows each share.

Question 3

Which period does the dashboard cover?

Accepted Answer

By default it shows the most recent reporting period of the selected business. You can narrow the view using the facility and period filters.

Where do the facility and vehicle counts come from?

Accepted Answer

Records you create under Organization → Facilities and Asset Management → Vehicles are counted as summary tiles on the dashboard.

How is the trend chart drawn?

Your monthly emission totals are plotted over time, letting you monitor year-over-year growth/decline and seasonal fluctuations.
